PARTICLES is a pixel typeface inspired by movement of particles at a
microscopic level.
Each glyph disintegrates its pixels into circular particles.
ATOMIC is an experimental typeface based on an open source font ‘Necto Mono Regular’.
Each glyph behaves like an atom with orbits, electrons and nuclei.
The variation occurs with rotation and scale change of all the
elements to transform from ground state to singularity when the
core collapses into itself.
QUANTUM
TYPE
LAB
Quantum Type Lab is a digital gallery for experimental
typography inspired by my scientific curiosities, exploring intersections of atomic structures,
elemental periodicity, and the transformative potential of variable typefaces.
This project treats typography as a mutable
entity—one that, like atoms, can exist in different states: ground, excited, ionized or nuclear.
Typography here is not static; it mutates,
transforming from one form to another and embodying the fluidity of both waves and particles as in
quantum theory.
This interplay creates a space where typography and scientific principles coexist and converge,
providing a visual and interactive platform for exploring these concepts.
The variety of colors, textures, and forms drawn from scientific visualization inspire new
typographic "worlds," each one cataloged in a visually enriching and playful way.
ELECTRONS
This immersive experience allows users to engage with
typography that abstracts scientific principles through interactive visualizations.
Driven by a systematic approach to depth, complexity, and generative methods, Quantum Type Lab strives
to merge scientific rigor with artistic expression.
